This little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed home, and this little piggy grew barnacles all summer long! Do you have a case of what I call ‘summer foot’ ? You know what I’m talking about… crusty heels, snaggy toenails, and big ugly callouses. It’s enough to make you hide your feet under the table. Well, it’s time to stop snagging clothing and scaring friends. Spend time now on those little piggies. If you have diabetes, you know the drill and how important proper foot care is; don’t ignore your feet. If you have a fungus, infection, wart, growth, pain, etc, you need to go to the doctor. However, if none of those situations describe you – maybe you just need to spend a little time with your feet. There are many websites devoted to foot care and many OTC foot soaks and lotions available. A little attention now can make July, August, and September happier months for you and your tootsies. Don’t forget – your feet also appreciate sunscreen and a good shoe; read Summer foot care. Not to be too ‘cliche’…don’t wait for the other shoe to drop. Put your best foot forward – have a footloose summer! Share your best summer foot care ideas!
